What are you going to do?
As an Event Manager, you are responsible for supporting and organizing a wide range of events for the School. You work together with the programme team, researchers, and colleagues to ensure that every event runs smoothly from start to finish.
A selection of your responsibilities:
- Setting up, planning, and coordinating events;
- Contributing ideas for creative concepts;
- Managing on-site execution: from setup to breakdown;
- Being responsible for incoming event requests and taking final responsibility during the events;
- Preparing scripts/run sheets, schedules, and budgets.
Who are you?
Job Requirements:
- You have at least 1–2 years of experience as an event manager.
- You are structured, stress-resistant, and able to maintain oversight, even during busy periods.
- You possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You are flexible in terms of working days during the week.

What can you expect from us?
- In accordance with the collective labor agreement for Dutch universities, we offer a salary of at least € 3.382 up to a maximum of € 4.484 (schaal 08) gross per month for a full-time employment contract.
- 232 vacation hours per year, based on a 38-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). You can also work more or fewer hours in exchange for more or fewer free hours. For example, with a 40-hour workweek, you save 96 extra free hours, and with a 36-hour workweek, you lose 96 hours.
- End-of-year bonus of 8.3% and 8% holiday allowance.
- Extensive opportunities for personal and professional development.
- A temporary employment of 0.3 FTE from April 1 till end of June 2026. Invitations for interviews will be sent on Monday, March 16. Job interviews will take place on Friday, March 20.
